High Caliber Mobile Detailing FAQs

Here’s some answers to some commonly asked questions about our mobile detailing service.

  • Q: Why is auto detailing so expensive

A: Simple, you get what you pay for, and this couldn’t be more true in the detailing industry. Detailers put in significant man hours doing meticulous work to ensure that your vehicle is top-notch. Also, an experienced detailer only uses professional grade products to guarantee quality and long-lasting results.

  • Q: Should I take my car to an Auto Detail Shop or try out a Mobile Auto Detail Service?

A: There is no point to waste your time and fuel to go deliver your car to a shop and either wait there for many hours or leave your car there for days or weeks hoping it doesn’t get driven around or accidentally scratched or damaged without you being aware of who is playing around with your vehicle at the shop. How about while you’re relaxing at home or while you’re at your job working, we are detailing your vehicle at any location you desire. After a few hours we are complete and didn’t even need to drive your vehicle or leave it sight unseen in some shop for days or weeks.

  • Q: Is an Auto Detailing Shop's quality better than a Mobile Auto Detailing Service?

A: In most case scenarios the shop is a much easier environment to work in. Mobile details take a lot more skill to endure weather elements. Most mobile detailers will struggle to meet or exceed a detail shop’s quality, but some mobile detailers are better than a shop detailer. We personally can render a perfect quality detail in almost any outdoor environment hot or freezing cold. This includes beyond detailing work such as paint correction polishing and ceramic coating installs as well. We are able to come out to you and within a few hours have your vehicle polished to perfection and even ceramic coating with no problems. Our talents and skills took many years to master, as well as finding the best top tier products that match quality with our skillset.

  • Q: Do I need to book an appointment or do you offer same day service availability?

A: We prefer appointments so we can properly detail your vehicle without rushing the job, but we also can do same day services as well if needed. Most of the time we have staff available to handle same day auto detailing, heavy paint correction, car polishing services, or ceramic coating jobs as well. Don’t be shy, contact us and let us assist your goal, you’ll be glad you did! 🙂

  • Q: Whats the best way to book an appointment?

A: Simple as picking what you want from the price menu and telling us a preferred day and time that you’d like to have us come detail your vehicle. You can text or call our business phone, email us, or fill out our quote to schedule an appointment. We’re very friendly and treat our customers with an immense amount of respect. If you’re unsure of what service you need, feel free to ask us for our recommendation and we will be more than happy to politely educate you on your goal.

  • Q: Why do other detailer's charge less than you guys?

A: Their business model is to sell high volume, low quality car washes masqueraded as auto detailing to lure in most people looking to “get the best deal”. This often leaves disappointing results and makes a customer feel like they wasted money despite paying a cheaper price.. Be cautious out there as there is an endless supply of ‘mobile auto detailing services’ out there on google or yelp that do not have any loyalty or respect to their customers. They want to give you a speedy car wash for the price of an undercut cheap detail to get your money. A word of friendly advice for anyone reading this, there are lots of shams out there! Invest your money wisely with a reputable, knowledgable, and transparent functioning auto detailer. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You certainly get what you pay for in the auto detailing industry.

  • Q: Do you guys have a shop location or just mobile?

A: We are mostly a mobile auto detailing service, however depending on the scope of the job and the type of vehicle, we may offer to detail the vehicle at one of our private garages if the situation calls for it.

  • Q: How long does a thorough detail take?

A: On average, a car will take 3 to 4 hours, a truck/SUV will take 5 to 6 hours, a motorcycle averages 2 to 3 hours. RVs and boats will take a full day. In some cases, these times can vary depending on the condition of the vehicle and the services rendered.

  • Q: Do you have a loyalty program?

Yes, every customer receives a loyalty card and after 5 details you will receive a 6th detail, of your choosing, at 50% off.

  • Q: What kind of products do you use?

A: We only utilize professional-grade industry-leading products that we have tested and Trust. All of our products are safe, non-hazardous and environmentally friendly. We only use the best products to ensure we give you the best results.

  • Q: What's the difference between good and bad products?

A: Bad products are usually temporary and lack luster or artificially shiny and greasy. Example of this would be a budget detailer using Armor All throughout your interior making it shine like someone spilled oil all over your dash. The product feels very greasy, dust builds up and shows easily on your interior now as well. Another example would be a cheap wax that adds hardly any depth, dimension, gloss, or protective durability versus a wax that adds a lot of visual depth to your paint, high gloss and contrast to your paint, and beads water off your car for months. Cheap towels can leave tons of very small hair fibers everywhere which ruins a perfect detail, or ribbed edged microfiber towels that easily swirl mark up your paint as a bad byproduct of being a cheap towel, making your paint look scratched up in the sun and requiring you to purchase paint correction buffing to fix your paint.

Another example would be ‘degreasers’, there are some that clean very good and happen to be very cheap which is good for a budget detailer, but unfortunately a lot of the degreasers on the market stain or fade your paint slightly, etch & permanently mark windows and chrome trim or ruin satin paint finishes including rims. If you happen to have black painted wheels, cheap degreasers will fade them almost grey or leave stain marks in them. Most people won’t notice this abuse happening to their car and neither will the unskilled budget detailer too, but the damage is being dealt to the customer’s car permanently.

  • Q: Does your company serve businesses?
